Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, remember your preferences, and provide basic usage information to website operators.

They do not contain personal information by themselves, but they can be linked to information you provide directly. You can control cookies through your browser settings or through the preference controls on this page.

2. Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

ALWAYS ACTIVE — CANNOT BE DISABLED

These cookies are required for the website to function. They handle things like session management and remembering your cookie preferences. Without them, some parts of the site would not work properly.

Examples: cookieConsent (localStorage), session identifiers.

Analytics Cookies

OPTIONAL

These cookies help us understand how visitors use our website — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. This information is used in aggregated, anonymised form to improve the site.

Examples: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid).

Marketing Cookies

OPTIONAL

These cookies may be used to deliver relevant advertisements or measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. If you disable these, you may still see ads but they will be less tailored to your interests.

Examples: Facebook Pixel, Google Ads conversion cookies.

Preference Cookies

OPTIONAL

These cookies remember settings you have chosen — such as your language preference or display options — so you do not need to set them again on your next visit.

Examples: language selection, display mode preferences.

3. Your Cookie Preferences

Use the toggles above to set your preferences, then click Save. Your choices are stored in your browser and will apply the next time you visit.

Your cookie preferences have been saved.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on this site are set by third-party services we use. These services have their own privacy and cookie policies:

  • Google Analytics — usage analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Facebook Pixel (if enabled) — conversion tracking. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Ads (if enabled) — advertising measurement. Governed by Google's policies above.

Coterra does not allow third parties to use cookies on our site for their own advertising purposes without your consent.

5. Cookie Duration

  • Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open. They are deleted automatically when you close your browser tab or window.
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period. For example, analytics cookies typically persist for 12–24 months; preference cookies may persist for up to 12 months.

You can delete all cookies from your browser at any time through your browser settings.
