Coterra is an ongoing membership community centred on everyday money literacy. Members join discussion rooms, attend events, access worksheets, and participate in small peer-learning circles. It operates much like a town square — a shared space where members bring questions, share experiences, and learn from one another at their own pace.
Is this a financial advisory or investment service? +
No. Coterra is a general financial education and community membership. We do not provide investment advice, portfolio management, lending, or any regulated financial services. Everything shared within the community is for informational and educational purposes only. Members are always encouraged to consult qualified professionals for personal financial decisions.
Which membership tier should I choose? +
The Community Membership (RM 480/yr) is ideal if you want to explore at your own pace with access to forums and the resource library. Plus Membership (RM 1,440/yr) adds live monthly sessions and peer circles, making it better if you prefer structured engagement. Patron Membership (RM 4,000/yr) offers the full experience including priority circle placement and a certificate of attendance upon completing learning tracks.
How are the live sessions conducted? +
Live group sessions (available in Plus and Patron tiers) are held online on a monthly basis. They typically run 60–90 minutes and focus on a specific money topic chosen by members. Recordings are made available to members who cannot attend in real time.
What topics does the community cover? +
Topics are guided by member interest and include everyday areas like household budgeting, building a savings habit, understanding credit, navigating EPF and insurance options, and reading financial statements. We keep content accessible and relevant to ordinary life in Malaysia.
Can I upgrade my membership tier later? +
Yes. Members can move between tiers at renewal time or mid-year with a pro-rated adjustment. Just reach out to us directly and we will walk you through the process.
How is my personal information kept private? +
We take member privacy seriously. Your contact details are used only for membership management and communications. Community discussions can be kept pseudonymous if you prefer. We do not share or sell personal data with third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
